Grant applications are now open
The Spay/Neuter Grant Application is available to city and county governments. Please review the application instructions carefully, complete all required sections, and submit the completed application form along with the animal shelter survey by the July 15, 2026 deadline. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Grant at michael.grant@ky.gov.
Spay Neuter Vouchers
The Kentucky department of Agriculture and the Animal Control Advisor Board does not offer vouchers directly to citizens in the Commonwealth. Please check with your local shelter, who may participate in funding grants from the KDA for low cost spay-neuter programs.
